Katie M Raynard 

 

Katie graduated from Michigan State University with a BFA in Apparel and Textile Design. As a designer, she connects the inspiration of each piece to the experience an individual has wearing the piece to visually and physically depict the inspiration behind her work. Having come from an artistic and athletic background, she finds herself being influenced by both in her design style. Along with this, She also enjoys making pieces of work that respond to social issues in society. In this approache she is expanding the boundaries of fashion through using it as a means of advocacy along with bringing an aesthetically compelling experience to both the viewer and wearer.
